Hey hey,
We’re getting really close to opening up registration for 2013 and I just wanted to share a little info in case you haven’t seen that we launched the site. This year will be June 21st/22nd with the workshop on the 20th.
Registration will open March 4th!
It’s number five!
When I was figuring out whether or not the first event in 2009 was possible, I DM’ed Chris Coyier and said he would be interested. That little win gave me the boost to run the event, so I’m ecstatic to have him returning to the stage for number 5.
Launching with Speakers and Topics
We were completely honored that last year you all put enough trust in us to buy tickets without knowing speakers and topics. We really wanted to make sure they were ready this year!

Our First Workshop
I’ve been wanting to run a workshop for the past few events and I found an awesome fit: Nick Walsh and Drew Barontini. We will release the details when registration is available, but it will be a full day of training on modern front-end dev practices on June 20th and we’ll offer 25 spots.
Other Cool Stuff
There are a couple of events coming up in Florida if you’re looking to present or attend: WordCamp Miami, BarCamp Orlando and Florida’s first CSS Conf.
Ricardo Needs Our Help!
Ricardo Gimenes, who does all of the character illustrations, is crowd funding the development of an iPad app for illustrators: Vectorlooza on Catarse.me. It looks really cool and I’m a big Ricardo fan. Of course, I backed it and I’ll gladly give away my 3 characters that I will get to people that spread the word. Tweet about it and include #frontendconf and I will do a random draw for winners if he makes the goal!
Thank you, Dan
