Our hosts at Media Temple provided fast and helpful responses to our support queries and were able to quickly provision a new server for us when we decided to upgrade to address our problems. Our database is now running on a beefy Nitro (ve) server that offers great performance and some breathing room as we scale our operation. Thanks, MT!
We also called in some Rails experts to help. We were incredibly fortunate to find Josh Sierles and Sudara Williams at Rubytune, who specialize in troubleshooting and tuning Rails applications. Their streamlined operation allowed us to sign a contract and get in a chat room to start work within minutes of contacting them.
