We come bearing news that the remaining passes for this year’s craft workshops are almost gone. At the time of writing, the passes for coffee roasting with Blue Bottle Coffee are sold out, leather craft with Billykirk has 12 places left, chocolatiering with Mast Brothers has 8 places left, and axe restoration (two-day) with Best Made Co has just 6 places left.

So if you’re considering taking part in one of this year’s hands-on workshops you better register sooner rather than later.

We’ve had quite a few emails from folks who missed out on getting a conference pass, but are interested in coming out to do a workshop, asking if that’s okay. Absolutely yes of course it is. Access to all the fringe events is included in your workshop pass, so if you didn’t get a pass for the conference, you’re still more than welcome to come join us for the rest of the week’s events.

Still interested in sneaking into the conference? Good news! We’re looking for a small number of volunteers to help during the week of Build. In exchange for a few hours manning registration or helping set up around the various fringe events, you get a pass for the entire event, a spiffing “Staff” tshirt so everyone knows your an integral part of what’s going on, and a smug sense of self-satisfaction in knowing that the event wouldn’t have run as smoothly if you hadn’t helped out.
