This month’s newsletter design is by Emma senior designer Taylor Schena. She wanted to use simple illustrations in a fun, vintage style with shades of blue to keep things cool. With temperatures hovering in the 90s, she’s had frosty treats on the brain. “Growing up,” Schena recalls, “the funnest parts of summer involved going with my family to local ice cream stands or eating popsicles and gossiping with friends at the town pool.” We always knew that would come in handy.
