Hope you are great and enjoying summer time.

Unfortunately there’s no beach time for us so far, since we’ve spent quite some time – besides working on HotGloo -  developing a brand new app. This process has helped us a lot to rethink some decisions affecting HotGloo and solve a couple of user interface questions we were facing since quite some time.

The editor version you are working with right now is the first result of this improvement process and the first update of a whole phase of innovations that are coming along this summer.

The first update included:

• a broader sitemap (more space for page names)
• redesigned icons (in preparation for a new element listing system)
• new zoom in/out icons (for those who struggle with shortcut keys)
• SSL connection now available for all editor related data (makes HotGloo even safer)
• overall speed and usability improvements
• minor bug fixes

We’ve recently released the public beta version of our brand new app, called Notism. Maybe you’ve heard about it already if not here are the facts:

Notism is a design feedback tool built to share any form of design layout (website screens, logo drafts, print layouts, screenshots …) with others. You can upload your design files, share them with others, link screens and create hotspots, turning your static design screens into interactive prototypes.

Just sign up for Notism - free while in beta – and see it in action.

 

Over the next couple of weeks we will release more updates including new UI elements, all new interactions and the long awaited iPhone UI widgets.
