The latest digital campaign by Skoda — ‘Made of Meaner Stuff’ by Archibald Ingall Stretton optimises social media and by analysing user’s interaction with Facebook friends, it decides whether they are a lovely or mean person. Users can then get their friends to rate them and the loveliest and meanest of them all, win cars. This is a nice extension of the TV campaign and we think it works a treat. |

With the rise of tablets including the iPad, Samsung Galaxy, the Blackberry PlayBook (due out later this year) and rumours of an iPad 2 this summer, apps and downloads will be bigger than ever this year. Will a new window for advertising arise in these mediums of internet without limits? We think so. |

This year Facebook is only set to get bigger with the continued use of Open Graph and the recent launch of a new ad format called Sponsored Stories.
