Sydney Markets next weekend!
Our last market for 2010 is finally around the corner! Our Summer Sydney Christmas Markets at CarriageWorks are next weekend! Friday evening & all day Saturday get prepared for over 75 stalls of amazing design goodies, art, clothing & gifts with 80% all new stallholders we are so excited to see this event come together! With all new music, décor by the crazy talented team at Reef Knot, featured artists section and the Paper Convention Collective installations & workshops!

Brisbane Markets wrap up post!
The first weekend of November we held the amazing Brisbane Finders Keepers markets at The Old Museum. The weekend had spectacular weather and the markets were the biggest and best to date with 3 rooms with over 65 designers and the amazing gardens featuring musicians all weekend, and a mix of great food stalls! On the Wall at Finders Keepers Sydney!

Arcade Project –
Last Round launch!
After a successful launch of the last 2 months of Arcade Spaces at Gaffa we are excited to announce the third and final round of designers that have just taken over the 4 pop up shops for the next month. The Arcade project is a unique opportunity for emerging designers to have their own pop up shops. We are holding a launch evening tonight at Gaffa, if you are in Sydney come down for a drink on us and check out the new spaces!

Paper Convention Collective
The Paper Convention collective will be launching their very first paper-event at Finders Keepers Sydney by way of a large-scale paper installation. People will be able to experience the joys of re-discovering and exploring paper through an atmosphere which encourages collaboration and the sharing of ideas and the community spirit. It will offer endless possibilities limited only by the imagination of the participants.
In conjunction, they have created some fun paper-based workshops over the weekend too! All you need is to bring along your own scissors!

SPACES is a mook (magazine / book) by Frankie Magazine. SPACES is a collection of inspiring eclectic interiors from all over the world. We went into the homes and work spaces of graphic designers, shops owners, vintage collectors and photographers. This project was about discovering spaces that had been curated over time. It’s inspirational but not unattainable.

The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) Australia provides learning programs to enhance the effectiveness of Australia’s social entrepreneurs and their social ventures. SSE has been an amazing support to the growth of The Finders Keepers and we want to spread the word about how this can benefit the growth of other non profit emerging businesses & projects to grow, develop and let their ideas and dreams come to fruition!
There are 2 schools both in Melbourne & Sydney and they are looking for new students to join their programs in 2011.
