Audi readies the new R15 TDI^® for the 24 Hours of Le Mans^®

We will fight for victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 12 and 13 with the new R15 TDI clean diesel racecar. A recent change in regulations demands reduced power from diesel engines. Our response is the R15 TDI—now with a new body shape offering even more efficient aerodynamics, a modified cooling and fuel tank system, even new headlights for improved nighttime visibility. Most importantly, the revised 5.5-liter power plant delivers 590 horsepower and over 774 lb.-ft. of torque.

worldwide acclaim

The 2010 Audi R8 V10 took center stage at the recent New York Auto Show, and the world took notice. We are honored to have won the 2010 World Performance Car Award*—just as we were when the V8-powered R8 won the same award in 2008. The global composition of the World Car jury further attests to the remarkable impression we make with luxury and performance enthusiasts everywhere.

The prestigious White House Correspondents’ Dinner is the preeminent “see and be seen” event in the nation’s capital. High-profile guests from across the country and around the world are in attendance. We were delighted to welcome them to Washington, D.C. as we participated in a number of social events during this illustrious weekend.
