Summer Kitchen Hours
We’re happy to announce our extended summer kitchen hours are now in effect. Stop in for a late nite bite until 9pm, and we’ll be announcing additional overall summer hours soon! As usual, Berlin is open Monday-Friday’s at 6am-9pm and 7am-9pm on the weekends.
Get Yer Bocce On
You may have noticed a long, rectangular ‘box’ just outside our front door. No, it’s not an oversized litter box but rather, our new Bocce Ball Court!
Simply put, a small ball (“pallino”) is thrown onto the court and players then bowl larger balls towards it to see who can get the closest. Bocce has its roots in Egypt and the game made its way to Greece and then to Rome, where Romans allegedly played the game with coconuts. In the 1700s, one of the first bocce ball fields appeared in the U.S. and even George Washington had a court at his Mount Vernon home.
Our court is available to customers FREE… just ask a server or inquire at the front counter for the Bocce Set, Rules & a scoring set and challenge your friends. We look forward to some fun competitions with prizes in the near future.
